Key missions
You are
responsible for assisting electrical engineers in designing, developing,
testing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment. You ensure that electrical systems
operate safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of
electrical principles, hands-on experience with electrical components, and
proficiency with tools and instruments used in Oil & Gas facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of electrical circuits,
systems, and components.
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and
systems.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
- Prepare reports and maintain records of tests, equipment, and
projects.
- Install, test, and maintain electrical equipment and systems in
various environments, including commercial, industrial, and residential.
- Perform regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety
standards and regulations.
- Assist with the assembly and installation of electrical
components and systems.
- Collaborate with engineers to develop solutions for electrical
system malfunctions or inefficiencies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and
regulatory changes in electrical engineering.
Candidate profile
- Associate degree or certification in electrical engineering technology or a related field with minimum 10 years of experience.
Oil & Gas experience with electrical systems, troubleshooting, and testing.
Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
Strong understanding of electrical safety standers and regulantions.
- Proficiency in English.
Experience with offshore installation experience.
- Working 480 to 13800V distribution systems (SWG, breakers, protection systems, etc.) and electrical generation equipment, motors up to 5.2 MW.
