We are looking for a Construction Manager to be based in our Angolan subsidiary to manage and develop all the Construction, Maintenance Engineering & Inspection related works activities in ANGOLA, as well as potentialize and develop business opportunities.

You will supervise the frame contract and ongoing activities with several different clients.


The will work closely with the Maintenance Engineering & Inspection department as well as corporate head office for the above-mentioned activities in order to optimize their implementation:

  • Ensure the development and commercial follow-up of the works activities and be the main contact point with the clients for your Business Unit;
  • Ensure the development and commercial follow-up is performed in all relevant sectors of activities, not limited to oil & gas;
  • Supervise and organize the work activities carried out through a multi-project’s organization;
  • Define, mobilize and manage quantitatively and qualitatively the human resources necessary to perform the works;
  • Manage and follow-up locally all calls for tender (from the survey phase to technical and commercial clarifications level), in collaboration with tendering department for complex projects or projects exceeding the capacity of the locally based teams;
  • Manage the projects in compliance with the client’s relevant technical specifications, requirements and contracts;
  • Ensure the financial management and follow-up of your Business Unit in collaboration with  finance team;
  • Ensure reporting and submit improvement / development program for your Business Unit to your management; 
  • Ensure the compliance with Dietsmann targets and follow the KPI’s for your Business Unit;
  • Respect and promote QHSE policy and values among your Business Unit. 


  • You have a Master Degree in Electrical, Instrument or Automation Engineering and a minimum of 8 years’ experience in Oil and gas activities in the field of electrical works.
  • You speak fluently English, Portuguese and French (Mandatory skills)
  • You are recognized for your ability to organize and coordinate different activities simultaneously. You demonstrate good communications and interpersonal skills, you are comfortable with clients and local administrations.

The work location is Luanda in ANGOLA

This position is on a rotational basis: 10 weeks on duty / 2 weeks off

5,5 worked days per week

Regular visits to site (offshore and onshore plants) and clients
