Dietsmann is the leading independent Operation & Maintenance and Maintenance Engineering & Inspection specialist for continuous-production plant in the oil & gas, conventional and nuclear power generation and mining industries.
As a member of the Group’s Sustainability Support team, you support initiatives throughout the Dietsmann in pursuit of the company-wide sustainability goals. These goals include the Net Zero strategy, ESG performances, as well as the optimization of energy, water and resources consumption.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Support the Corporate ESG & Sustainability program by developing and providing updates to strategic sustainability targets
- Identify energy and water consumption improvement initiatives and innovative / alternative technologies to optimize utility usage
- Contribute to the Dietsmann Environmental Management System
- Develop and update procedures
- Sustainability Program Reporting and Communications
- Compiling various sustainability reports to update performance and analyze trends
- Carry out/participate in Environmental audits
- Organize training seminars/workshops addressing sustainable development issues
- Promote environmental and sustainable development awareness across the Group
- Participate to the investigation of environmental incidents, make recommendations and seek subsequent improvements/changes to management systems
- Identify sustainability risks and appropriate mitigation measures and highlighting any opportunities to increase the organization’s sustainability image
- Perform other duties as may be assigned
Required profile
- Engineering or Master’s degree in Environment or Sustainability
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in environmental programs, sustainability, climate goal deployment or related technical role
- Experience in sustainability assessments (including carbon footprint, water consumption…)
- Working knowledge of GRI, SDGs, UNGC reporting, GHG Protocol and sustainability standards
- Good report writing skills
- Strong communication capabilities
- Languages: English (Native or good level), French (appreciated)
