Key missions

Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) Engineer is responsible for overseeing and managing the CMMS system (MAXIMO) to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations. The role includes system administration, data management, reporting, and training to optimize asset reliability and performance.


Your tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee the daily operation and administration of the MAXIMO system, ensuring accurate data entry and system performance.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain preventive and corrective maintenance schedules within MAXIMO to support reliability and maintenance goals.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to optimize asset management, tracking, and work order processes.
  • Design and generate reports on asset reliability, maintenance costs, KPIs, and work order backlog to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Provide training and support to maintenance staff and users on CMMS functionality, best practices, and updates.
  • Analyze system data to identify trends, equipment reliability issues, and areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with IT to troubleshoot, upgrade, and customize the MAXIMO platform as needed.
  • Ensure that all maintenance records and historical data are accurate, well-organized, and accessible within MAXIMO.
  • Support audits and compliance initiatives by maintaining accurate CMMS records in alignment with regulatory and company standards.

Candidate profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CMMS Engineer, with extensive use of MAXIMO in an industrial environment, preferably in Oil & Gas, Energy, or Manufacturing.
  • In-depth knowledge of maintenance planning, asset management, and reliability practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and produce actionable insights.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MAXIMO, including configuration, reporting, and system optimization.
  • Advanced computer skills, including MS Office Suite, with the ability to quickly adapt to new software.
  • Language: Fluent in English (required); proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and training delivery.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.
  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and standards in an industrial setting is preferred.
