Junior Logistics

Key missions

For a new project in Angola with ENI we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Logistics Specialist to join our team. As a Junior Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the logistics team in coordinating and optimizing the movement of goods and materials. You will work closely with various departments, suppliers, and transportation providers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in coordinating and tracking the movement of goods and materials, ensuring accurate and timely delivery to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Support the logistics team in managing inventory levels, monitoring stock levels, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure adequate supply.
• Assist in the planning and scheduling of transportation activities, including arranging shipments, coordinating with carriers, and tracking shipment status.
• Assist in managing logistics documentation, including bills of lading, shipping labels, and customs documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve logistics-related issues, such as delays, damages, or discrepancies.
• Perform other administrative and operational tasks as assigned by the logistics team.

Candidate profile

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.

2. Proven experience in logistics or a related field is a plus, but not required for a junior position.

3. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

4. Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

6. Basic knowledge of logistics processes, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.

7. Familiarity with logistics software and systems is a plus, but not required.

8. Willingness to learn and grow in the field of logistics.
