Key missions

Dietsmann is the leading independent Operation & Maintenance and Maintenance Engineering & Inspection specialist for continuous-production plant in the oil & gas, conventional and nuclear power generation and mining industries.


Under the responsibility of the Group HSEQ Manager, you will be in charge of the Process Safety aspects for Dietsmann Group covering all the countries and contracts.


What you'll do :

  • Contribute to the Safety Support of all subsidiaries
  • Perform audits of process safety management systems and execute risk mitigation corrective actions
  • Complete process safety reviews and develop recommendations for addressing process safety issues
  • Prepare training modules in areas such as safety laws and regulations, hazardous condition monitoring, and use of safety equipment
  • Recommend process and product safety features that will reduce employees' exposure to workplace hazards
  • Review employee safety programs to determine their adequacy
  • Provide coaching to plants on identification and resolution of process safety issues
  • Provide assistance to Tendering department on HSE level
  • Monitor HSE international legislation and standards
  • Contribute to the Dietsmann integrated management system by preparing new documents or updating existing ones

Candidate profile

  • At least a Bachelor degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
  • 5 years of engineering experience supporting Operations and/or Projects
  • English Fluent
  • Solid understanding of process safety elements, practical knowledge leading hazard assessments and exposure to industry API Codes and Standards
  • Familiar with Management of Change (MOC), Risk Management, and Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) risk assessments
  • Good communication skills, have an international mindset and be open-minded to new cultures and new ways of working and thinking
  • Good personal management and self-organization skills

The position is based in Bucarest offices, with possible short missions in the Subsidiaries.

Contract Type: Open-Ended contract (under Romanian law)
