Key missions
As a Deputy Project Manager you will have the responsibility of
assisting the Project Manager in managing the following major activities in the
Refinery’s Operating Facilities.
- Operation &
Maintenance Management:
- Responsible
to develop a full understanding of the Refinery’s operating facilities.
- Generate
Incident / Accident reports and remedial action taken report.
- Advise
the Project Manager on all issues related to the Contract Managemen
- Inter Disciplinary
Coordination:
- Coordinate
and liaise with Client as required
- HSE Compliance:
- Ensure
compliance to Company’s Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Management
System.
- Contract
Administration
Candidate profile
-
At least a Bachelor degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 6 years of working experience in Energy Sector, preferably in O&G
- Should have worked
in similar capacity in the Oil and Gas industry and preferably in a Hydrocarbon
Refinery
- Should have proven
record to show administrative capabilities to mobilize manpower and / or
equipment resources at short notice during normal times, emergencies or
during planned shutdowns periods
- Good communication
skills, have an international mindset and be open-minded to new cultures
and new ways of working and thinking
- Good personal
management and self-organization skills
- Excellent oral and
written skills in English, Arabic would be a plus
