Mechanical Manager

Key missions

Reporting to the Technical Coordinator, you are responsible for the mechanical activities of the offshore and onshore sites and coordinate a team composed of mechanical supervisors, crane supervisor, rotating machine specialist, NDT specialist, workshop supervisor (mechanics and machining) and mechanical and crane preparers.

  • You plan all the mechanical interventions, ensuring the availability of spare parts and personnel.  
  • You ensure that all the means necessary to carry out mechanical works on the client sites and in the mechanical workshop (equipment, tools, spare parts, consumables, etc.) are available in due time.
  • You are in charge of restocking spare parts and accessories repaired or not used during interventions in the client warehouse.
  • You provide the client with the information and necessary data to manage the mechanical activity.
  • You provide technical expertise during machine breakdowns, with analysis of the identified causes, in liaison with the sites.
  • You offer technical solutions for recurring incidents.
  • You compile detailed reports on overhauls for every heavy mechanical intervention conducted either on-site or in the workshop.

Candidate profile

  • Minimum Higher National Diploma or equivalent in the mechanical field and minimum 10 years of experience with rotating equipment, preferably in the petroleum or petrochemical industry
  • Specific technical knowledge on mechanical equipment maintenance
  • Rigorous and methodical approach
  • Ability to work on offshore sites and remote on-shore sites in a hot and humid climate
  • Good skills on Windows environment and SAP
  • Language: French required
