Key missions
Reporting to the Regional Finance Director, you are responsible for the financial controlling of the countries and/or affiliates you are assigned to.
Responsibilities
- Validate the monthly reporting, in IFRS, prepared by the accounting teams located in Monaco and within the countries concerned
- Ensure that proper internal controls and reconciliations are made available
- Participate, define and produce budget as well as regular forecast
- Review and track profitability per project, costs center, according to budget and/or forecast
- Coordinate and share analysis with the Country Manager on regular basis, to elaborate and to monitor action plans required
- Actively work with all relevant teams to comply with tax, external or internal audits in your scope, and be a key contact for external Group auditors
- Supervise your accounting teams
- Handle ad-hoc requests in a timely manner
Candidate profile
- At least 5 years’ experience in accounting and IFRS reporting within an International Group
- Advance Excel knowledge
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Enjoy working in both an individual and a team setting
- Fluency in French and English (written / oral)
- Availability to travel is required mainly in Africa
