Key missions
As a Maintenance Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring all maintenance activities on the offshore site. Working on a 4x4 rotation schedule, you will ensure the efficient use of resources, alignment with the CMMS, and smooth communication with multidisciplinary teams (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation). You will play a key role in optimizing work orders, supporting operational reliability, and contributing to the overall safety and performance of the installation.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and update maintenance schedules in the CMMS to ensure timely execution of all planned activities.
- Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation teams to integrate their needs and priorities into a consolidated maintenance plan.
- Monitor the portfolio of Work Orders, ensuring follow-up, proper documentation, and timely closure.
- Ensure alignment of planning activities with operational, technical, and QHSSE standards.
- Liaise with offshore supervisors, onshore support teams, and contractors to ensure effective coordination of resources and logistics.
- Support optimization of preventive and corrective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and costs.
- Prepare reports and KPIs on maintenance performance, backlog, and resource utilization.
- Participate in planning meetings and provide input on critical path activities.
- Ensure that all work planning strictly complies with safety rules and procedures.
Candidate profile
- Engineering degree or equivalent (Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation).
- At least 5 years of experience in maintenance planning, preferably in Oil & Gas offshore operations.
- Strong expertise in CMMS tools (Maximo, SAP, or equivalent).
- Proven ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams.
- Solid organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
- Familiarity with offshore rotation work environment; experience on 4x4 rotations is an advantage.
- Knowledge of safety standards and maintenance best practices in offshore facilities.
