Key missions
Reporting to the Application Manager, the Application Support Specialist works across a multi-application scope. The main responsibilities and objectives are as follows:
- Provide user support by ensuring optimal application availability and proper functioning.
- Analyze and resolve incidents encountered (connection issues, access rights management, application malfunctions, etc.).
- Guarantee service continuity by ensuring permanent application accessibility and anticipating risks that could impact users.
- Coordinate exchanges with external service providers and software vendors when necessary, in order to manage incident resolution and monitor corrective actions.
- Participate in corrective and evolutionary maintenance operations to keep applications up to date.
- Oversee daily maintenance and backup management to ensure data integrity, security, and sustainability.
- Design, adjust, and develop reports in Business Objects or Power BI to meet business needs and improve data visibility.
Candidate profile
- IT degree (BTS or DUT level), with significant experience of at least 5 years in application support for enterprise applications.
- Good understanding of accounting and finance domains, enabling effective grasp of business challenges.
- Curious and proactive, with fast learning ability and strong adaptability.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as good teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage emergency situations while maintaining a strong sense of service and user satisfaction.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
Desired Technical Skills:
- SQL and/or Data Warehouse knowledge
- SAP/Business Objects, Power BI, or other reporting tools
- Microsoft Dynamics NAV, EAM, Cegid, Sage, and iScala (or other ERPs) would be a plus
