Key missions
As a Senior Accountant, you are responsible for the accounting of the supervised entities in Africa, in accordance with the applicable local regulations, covering accounting, taxation, payroll, and various social obligations.
You work closely with stakeholders based in the subsidiaries (both operational and administrative teams).
Reporting to the Chief Accountant based in Monaco, your main duties include, but are not limited to:
General Accounting :
- Record and file accounting documents in compliance with accounting principles (IFRS).
- Prepare and post sales invoices for various operational projects.
- Prepare and record monthly closing provisions.
- Prepare monthly reconciliations (payroll, sales, etc.).
- Monitor, analyze, and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare intercompany recharges, offsettings, and payments.
- Control and integrate interfaces into the accounting system.
- Contribute to the preparation of audit files.
Analytical Accounting
:
- Monthly review and analysis of various projects.
- Provide explanations on key variances.
The Senior Accountant will also take part in administrative projects, such as the implementation of new IT tools or the strengthening of internal controls.
Candidate profile
- Master’s degree in Accounting or equivalent, with at least 3 years of experience in an accounting firm or an international company.
- Strong knowledge of general accounting.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel required.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
