Key missions
For a new project in Angola with ENI we
are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as an
Inspection & Expediting Specialist. As an Inspection & Expediting Specialist,
you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and timely delivery of
materials, equipment, and services for our projects. You will be responsible
for coordinating inspections, expediting deliveries, and verifying compliance
with project specifications and industry standards. This position requires
strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye
for detail.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct inspections of materials, equipment, and services to verify compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Identify and report any non-conformities or quality issues, and work collaboratively with suppliers or vendors to resolve them.
- Track and expedite the delivery of materials and equipment to meet project deadlines.
- Monitor and update project schedules and timelines to reflect the status of inspections, expediting, and delivery activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors to address any delays or issues affecting project progress.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inspections, expediting activities, and compliance documentation.
- Providing regular updates on inspection and expediting activities, and addressing any concerns or inquiries.
- Evaluate and select third-party inspection agencies or expeditors, ensuring their qualifications and capabilities meet project requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to inspection and expediting.
Candidate profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in inspection, expediting, or supply chain management within a relevant industry.
- Strong knowledge of inspection techniques, quality control processes, and expediting methodologies.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve quality issues or non-conformities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using inspection and expediting tools, software, and systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
