We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HSEQ Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety, health, environment, and quality management, with specific expertise in managing HSEQ standards and systems.
The role involves overseeing the implementation and monitoring of safety and environmental practices, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and promoting a culture of safety within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the company’s HSEQ systems in compliance with ISO standards (ISO 9001/14001/45001).
Conduct risk assessments and develop effective action plans to mitigate identified risks.
Implement and monitor safety protocols and environmental procedures in line with industry regulations.
Perform internal audits to assess the effectiveness of HSEQ management systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental practices.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HSEQ regulations, standards, and best practices.
Provide training and guidance to employees on HSEQ matters to ensure compliance.
Prepare and submit reports on HSEQ performance to senior management.
University degree in Safety, Health, and Environment or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.
Knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry is a plus.
In-depth understanding of HSEQ standards and regulations.
Experience as an internal auditor or management system manager (ISO SR EN 9001/14001/45001).
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and create actionable plans to improve safety and environmental standards.
HSE certifications would be considered an asset.
Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
