As a member of the
Group’s HSE Support team, the Occupational Health/Hygienist specialist is in charge to develop the occupational
hygiene, chemical safety and occupational health by conducting
risk-based inspections to assess health hazards and ensure the compliance with
the occupational health regulation.
Undertake surveys and assessing health risks in the workplace
Record facts or details of workplace procedures, processes and tasks
Eliminate or significantly reduce risks by proposing organisational changes or redesigning work areas
Compile data, write reports and present findings
providing clear and accurate information and advice on complex health issues
Train the staff on health issues such as Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH) awareness
Recommending control measures to minimise exposure in accordance with legislation
Provide guidance regarding the Corporate’s occupational management program
Conducting incident investigations, occupational health assessments and inspections, and health, safety and environmental improvement projects
Assess general and specific occupational hygiene, chemical safety and occupational health hazards and risks
Write occupational hygiene documents/guides, training programmes and presentations
Participate in on call services and respond to incidents and emergencies
Develop, maintain and verify required files,
databases, documents and records
Science or technology-based degree or, Master in occupational hygiene or health
Minimum 3 years of work experience in occupational hygiene programs
Experience in Health risks assessment
Good report writing skills
Strong communication capabilities
Languages: French, English (professional level)
