Mechanical Supervisor

Key missions

Under the responsability of the Team Leader, you will coordinate and execute the following tasks: 

• To support Platform Maintenance Team for all rotating and static equipment

• To achieve a high machinery and equipment reliability through the execution of safe and efficient maintenance practice and procedure.

• Act as assistance and shadow candidate of company maintenance mechanical supervisor.

• Provide rotating and static maintenance support to the field operations to manage asset operation to ensure the set production target are meet and safeguard technical integrity

• Ensure all PM/CM/PD and IM activities are carried out as per WO and JP description, using documentation form data Base, Vendor Manuals.

• Support/Co-ordinate rotating and static equipment inspection program plans and requirements to reduce equipment downtime and communicate/coordinate plans with field operation to foster better understanding and execution of the set plan Priorities and plan  rotating and static maintenance workload .

• Manage maintenance of all type of rotating machinery, compressors, turbines, pumps and motors, including strong knowledge of mechanical seals and sealing systems, package, hydraulic equipment.
  

• Take the lead in CM report of vibration analysis to identify potential equipment failure
• Optimize the delivery of rotating equipment outages and work pack for the asset, input data to Maintenance Mechanical Support Engineer and Engineering for modification under PMR
• Ensure all long term/temporary, piping repairs - clamps, section replacement, modifications etc., gets carried out as per set plan.

• Ensure all work orders are raised/issued and are executed on time as per set plan and scope of work , such hydro tests , bolts tightening.

• Manage all workshop tools machines requirement, issue purchasing requests and evaluate vendor offers for mechanical tools as required.

• Collaborate with Material Spare Part Mechanical Analyst to prepare BOM, Material required, spare parts and review the stock in store.

• To ensure that maintenance plans and schedules are made by the Planning section and provide input to these plans.

• Develop a motivated and competent rotating and static maintenance team in area .Supervision, monitoring, and execution of action plan and carry out superior instructions to translate such requirements into effective maintenance works.

• Follow up the daily routine maintenance activities in accordance with approved Permit to Work and Company procedures and best practices.

• Prepare daily PTW, documentation and follow up company Procedure for any activity carried out.

• Provide specialist support with regards to inspection, fault analysis and improvement maintenance strategies for rotating and static equipment.

• Should be able to read/analyze vibration spectra and identify root causes of vibration issues on rotating equipment

• Training and development of Nationals which involves shadowing or on the job training for certain designated positions.

• Management of personnel’s shift schedule.

Candidate profile

• At least with 10 years’ experience as rotating and static supervisor in the Oil and Gas Industry

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical ,Engineering for recognized Engineering University

• Excellent verbal and written communication skill, in English

• Training, Certified  as Pruftechnik or similar in vibration systems; Rotalign ,Laser Systems

• ISO 18436 - Vibration analysis Cat I
