Key missions
As a Construction Manager, you will lead all operational activities of the E&I construction department, ensuring successful execution of service contracts in line with Dietsmann’s QHSSE standards, technical, financial, and client satisfaction objectives.
You will manage a team, develop business opportunities, oversee operations, and coordinate with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage ongoing E&I construction contracts, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery
- Develop relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Support Country Manager in business development, contract management, profitability optimization, and tendering
- Ensure operational, administrative, financial, and QHSSE objectives are met
- Define and implement department HR needs, including recruitment, training, and career development
- Approve purchases and enforce Company Quality Management System
Candidate profile
- Engineering degree or equivalent (Master’s / PMP is a plus)
- At least 10 years’ experience in electrical & instrumentation construction management in Oil & Gas projects
- Strong team management, commercial acumen, tendering knowledge, and profit-center management skills
- Fluent in English and Portuguese; French is a plus
- Proficiency in computer tools, Visio, and AutoCAD
- Experience in business development is essential, including acquiring new clients, developing revenue, and managing a P&L
